Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Unload app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Unload is a voice journaling application that allows you to:

• Record voice entries and convert them to text
• Store your journal entries locally on your device
• View and manage your recorded entries
• Optionally tag entries with emotions

User Responsibilities

When using Unload, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not use the App to record conversations without proper consent where required by law
• Be solely responsible for the content you create and store
• Maintain the security of your device and any device passcodes

Subscriptions and Purchases

Unload may offer subscription plans or one-time purchases ("Pro features"):

• Free Tier: Basic features with daily usage limits
• Pro Subscription: Unlimited access to all features

Payment: All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By making a purchase, you also agree to Apple's Terms and Conditions.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

Intellectual Property

The Unload app, including its design, code, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain all rights to the journal entries and recordings you create. We do not claim any ownership over your personal content.

Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we handle your data.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy or reliability of speech recognition
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Fitness for a particular purpose

Speech recognition accuracy may vary depending on your device, language, accent, and environmental conditions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or journal entries
• Device damage or malfunction
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

We recommend regularly backing up your device to prevent data loss.

Not a Substitute for Professional Help

Unload is a personal journaling tool, not a mental health service. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need professional support, please contact a qualified healthcare provider or emergency services.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
